Clock and VCXO subassemblies
speed cycle time. VC America announces availability of sub-assembled Clock Oscillator and VCXO products. These hybrid Oscillator subassemblies include an Oscillator IC, mounted in a ceramic SMD (5x7, 5x3.2, etc) package. These subassemblies reduce manufacturing cycle times and lower administrative costs substantially. They offer convenience and speed for product evaluation and time-to-market.

Caller ID SM8223AP as packaged product

NPC dropped PDIP like many other
makers, however, VC America supplies the SM8223AP
in plastic DIP!. This Caller ID IC with FSK (Frequency shift keying) decoder and a DTMF (Dual tone multi-frequency) receiver, works well in Central American and Asian systems. This SM8223AP uses an NPC CF8223A die, and is packaged in a 16 pin DIP package.
NPC's BiCMOS oscillator IC’s address both higher frequency up to 700MHz, and lower voltage operation with outputs for CMOS, LVDS, and LVPECL. The table below summarizes the overall range of operation. Refer to the data sheets for more detail:
